Toni S. Kendrick!
Toni S. Kendrick has used her passion for education to reach students over a 35 year career. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from California University of Pennsylvania, her Master’s in Education from the University of Pittsburgh, and her principal’s certificate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
She has worked as a teacher, Instructional Teacher Leader, counselor, student service specialist, assistant principal and proudly served the Pittsburgh Public Schools as the principal of Pittsburgh Allegheny 6-8. Toni S. Kendrick is a certified conflict mediator and has attended the National Institute of School Leadership hosted by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
Toni S. Kendrick has served the Greater Pittsburgh community as the immediate past 2nd vice president of the Pittsburgh Administrator Association. She is a lifelong member of New Destiny C.M.E. Church and she is a member of the NAACP, Pittsburgh Branch. She is a former Wilkinsburg Planning Commissioner; she has supported the Rainbow Kitchen Food Bank and Project Bundle-up.
Toni S. Kendrick has served several community initiatives, including the Gateway Medical Society's Annual Health Conference, AMACHI Pittsburgh (which serves children of incarcerated parents), the American Diabetes Society, and the American Heart Association.
She is the recipient of the following awards:
- Outstanding Community Service Award - National Pan-Hellenic Council, Pittsburgh Chapter.

- Mentor Memoirs Honoree - Faith and Hope Community Outreach Ministries

- Woman of the Year 2014 - Black Business and Professional Women
Toni S. Kendrick's engagement in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated has both breadth and depth. She was initiated into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated in 1975. She is a Silver Star/ Life Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. She served as the Great Lakes Cluster Coordinator.
She is a dedicated daughter, supportive sister, and a loving mother and grandmother.
